Baby number two! - Real Mum story on MoM

Not expecting to fall pregnant as soon as we did after our first child was definitely a shock. I had the implanon in for a few months but it was making me have my period non stop so after a long talk and deciding that whatever happens happens I got it removed. Thinking it would take a year or two to get pregnant again as it took us five years of trying to have our first child. We went on a trip to Melbourne and everything I had eaten had made me feel sick but I just thought it was a tummy bug going around, but a month later it got worse and nausea turned into vomiting and being around all day so I did a test and sure enough it was positive. I went to my dating scan and found out I was 11 weeks 5 days into my pregnancy that was a huge shock. Now I’m 21 weeks 4 days and have just recently found out it’s another girl. I’m a bit nervous about have two children under two when our Bub arrives in April and how much it’s going to change but I’m also excited to become a mum again.

yeah i had 2 kids close together and that wasn’t planned on either lol! i was concerned but it worked out fine. they are like partners in crime lol!

  Yes, my 2 nephews were exactly 2 years less only a few days apart. We thought there may be jealousy but that didn’t happen until number 2 was about 6 -7 months old. Only becuase their Mum favoured number 2 all the time and the older one was ignored unless he did something wrong. On more than one occasion she didn’t bath him for a week. He had him for the weekend and bathed him. He still had the same clothes on 5 days later on the Friday and they smelt like it too. The same things stayed in the clothes dryer for 3 weeks. Sheet was in exactly the same position. She was complaining she couldn’t find kids’ clothes. Grandma told her to check the dryer. We didn’t say anything about the fact that we knew the things in the dryer had been there in the same position.

Nothing to worry about at all – my mum had 3 under 3 and we all get along really well. Nothing wrong with close babies – enjoy! Congratulations!
