Finding vouchers - Real Mum story on MoM

I am not that good with tackling paper work and it tends to pile up and so I move the pile to a place where I will sort later. Later usually means in a month or two.. By which time the paperwork is out of date and most of it goes in the bin! Why I can’t throw it away first I don’t know!! Anyway I was having a tidy up of some paperwork (long over due) and came across some birthday vouchers my child was given from various shops. It was exciting to suddenly find these and like his birthday all over again! So this weekend we will look forward to going out shopping and using them so I don’t get them lost again under the masses of paper work!

It’s great when you find something that was missing, or you’d completely forgotten about, that has value and use. This must have been such a bonus to find, and means a lovely day out for the family. Last move I found $20 I had stashed away into a cd cover, stoked

Its surprising of what you can find after a clean up I have found coins and money which is a plus its like a big reward for finally doing that clean up

I got a couple of birthday cards last year with some money in them, and I “put them somewhere safe” so I wouldn’t lose them. Needless to say I couldn’t find them when I went looking for them. But I found them just before Christmas, and the money came in very handy.

Lol – I do the same! Except for some obscure reason I stack them in the linen cupboard with the intention of going through them, but I never do!

I hate sorting through mess aswell, and what a reward to find something other than bills lol, sometime its best to do it straight away so it dont build up

Birthday vouchers are nice treats from various stores. My children love getting them in he post around their birthday time.

I used to do the same – and still fall back into old habits on some busy weeks. Now I try to get through the mail each day and only set aside things I need to attend to, note any specials I want to buy and have a zip lock bag on the side of my fridge for vouchers which we go through weekly for expiry dates etc (usually on a Friday night when trying to find a pizza voucher).
