I have just had to enrol my daughter (age 11 years) into high school for 2015. This was a tough decision. Both my sister and I went to all girls high school and we both feel this has contributed to having a good education. We both believe we would choice to pick an all girls school now should we be given the opportunity again. I have now enrolled my daughter in an all girls high school and she has been very happy with the process the whole way along until we got the acceptance letter. Then she got upset and decided that she doesn’t want to go to an all girls school anymore. As a parent, we all have to make decisions for our children that we feel are for the bet and in this case I will stick with our original decision to have my daughter go to an all girls school. Its just a little tough when my daughter is not so keen on the idea. I have spoken with a few other mums and my thought process is that I can always change her school later on if it really doesn’t work out. Sometimes as mums we just have to make a decision and I hope in this case that I have made the right decision. Thanks for listening (reading), its nice to have somewhere to vent!
