Hello!

I had just finished feeding my youngest (7.5 mo), leaving my other two happily watching Peppa Pig in my son’s room (please don’t judge me! It is the only thing that will keep my 3.5 y.o. and 2 y.o. quiet long enough for me to feed my youngest, who has just cut her third tooth and who has taken to being easily distracted at the least little noise whilst being fed. Distracted baby results in said baby clamping down with her sharp pointy little teeth on my nip. Pain pain pain!). So upon leaving the nursery, my daughter (2) proudly runs up to me to present me with a double handful of poop… To give the darling credit, she had taken her nickers off first so they didn’t get dirty. Unfortunately, instead of using the conveniently placed potty, she decided to poop on her big brothers bed. Yeaness! I was eventually able to laugh (once the sheets were on the line), helped by sending a text to my hubby at work saying “Your daughter just brought me a double handful of poo”, and hope this story gives you a giggle too. I would love to continue the giggles by hearing your “Think you’re having a bad day…?” stories too! :D

  • Oh dear, what a lovely surprise! At least she saved some washing by taking her knickers off lol. There’s never a dull moment with little ones is there?

  • sounds like a day i had not long ago.
took my daughter dancing and forgot my phone, then she was that tired she cried at dancing then had my first road rage incident, dropped cat food that splashed up in my face, eye & hair after a shower. not poo but still frustrating.

  • My bad day was most days when #2 now 8yo was 2yo. He had a facination with eggs. Every time I went to the toilet, laundry, eTc and didn’t take him with me, I would have cracked eggs everywhere. In the fridge, on kitchen floor, on the carpet! (eggs are impossible to clean from carpet)!!!

He also had a fascination with fish. We had tropical tank set up beautifully. Slowly we noticed fish missing. $2500 worth of fish in the end. We thought one was eating the other’s until one 2am we caught him with net in hand! We had to half empty the tank to move it and surprise surprise we found the remnants of said fish. We gave the remainder away before he got them too!

    • I imagine a cracked egg looks pretty good! ;)
