Omg what a week its been, I was relived that school has gone back or so I thought, back to the normal routine of getting up early ( no more sleep ins ) getting everyone off to school, settling my boy into a new school, everything was good, then come the sleep overs how bad can they be, one friend for each child that make two friends, not so bad, everything was going great the boys outside skateboarding the girls watching and cheering them on, I was listening out as there were many crashes, and then it happened, all I hear was omg quick get a Band-Aid, and one the girls laughing and saying gross, the boys running around like headless chooks, I go to investigate and found blood everywhere, looking for which boy had injured himself, I found it was the girl who was laughing uncontrollably and saying gross, who had actually nearly sliced her heel off, while the boys were trying to assist her and almost dry retching, all the while she was laughing, so I pulled myself together and rushed her to hospital, at 11 at nite, while trying to contact her mother, we get to the hospital, and the nurse inspects her, she is still laughing at this point, until they mention you’ll need stitches, and needles, then it happened I turned 50 shades of white and have to be escorted out into the waiting room, luckily her mother turns up, for her support, and doesn’t need to ask how I am as she takes one look at me and asks who the patient. All works out fine she only required three stitches, and lots of rest. Where as I needed a good stiff drink and no more sleep overs for a while. Im proud of the boys for their quick thinking, and of the girl who was so brave, but as for me, im slightly embarrassed, and am now on alert of dangers around the house,
