SilkyTots Silk Cot Slips allow hair to glide over the surface, eliminating the friction to prevent baby bald spots and help with knotting!

We are giving away TWO silk slip starter packs from SilkyTots, each valued at $224.97.

Each pack includes:

  • 1 x silk slip cot ($84.99 each),
  • 1 x silk slip basinet cover ($54.99 each),
  • 1 x silk head support for pram ($84.99 each).

Ordinary cotton and bamboo sheets twist and tug our babies hair causing knotting, matting and eventually the dreaded baby bald spot.

Check out what other parents are saying about the amazing results on their Instagram: @silkytots

SilkyTots products also help with a few other health issues too. The hypoallergenic mulberry silk fights dust and other nasties floating in the air to help with breathing and asthma and the non-absorbent material also assist with temperature regulation calming with rashes and reducing eczema.

  • My bub has bald spot at back of his head from exactly reasons above! I have tried so much tummy time I let him sleep in my arms just to give hair a chance to grow but he’s 6 months old now n I’m worried its permanent ????

  • My 4 year old decided she didn’t like her fringe that she’d grown as it kept getting in her face so she was caught snipping it off with her safety scissors making a beautifully short fringe. It was funny bur not funny as she was so close to growing it long and the same length as the rest of her hair, now she has a horrible fringe that couldn’t be fixed

  • The biggest hair disaster we had was that my son had none until he was two years old. All I wanted was to do babh bath mohawks but I had to wait forever for it!

  • When my son decided to turn himself into a unicorn and stuck a putty horn straight on the top of his head which then had to be cut out

  • Seeing my oldest daughter had cut her own hair was a huge disaster, especially as it was the week before school photos.

  • Omg disaster major disaster we had a dress up so crazy as am hair spray I mean stuff starch hair little decided to try and undo her hair hair band got knotted up then she gets comb stuck in her so she decided then go get conditioning spray but poor it on her hair yes half a bottle mean while I was busy with new bub 2 weeks old I hear crying go and check disaster 1 hour later and patients and crying we got there

  • She used to scratch one part of her hair that had cradle cap which resulted in a little bold patch at the front. Whilst the rest of her grew, she walked around with a little circle of baldness. It gave her plenty of character.

  • Nits that already hatched because I was clueless and there were lice crawling everywhere. I was so mortified and getting it out of long curly hair was a Nightmare on Elm St

  • We have a shortage of hair in our family but what hair my bub has is red so it’s very noticeable and is always commented on, unfortunately rubbing food through his hair is a favourite activity so it’s a constant battle to pick the food out.

  • was smoking and her hair caught on fire —- omg i felt like the worst mother EVER!
