Our family, My kids, and our pets are the heart and what make our house a home

My family is what makes our house a home, we fill it with lots of laughter and fun com create as many memories as we can.

With Gabe & Nix decor my house is more than a home, I love to spend time there because of the fresh clean homely items. you just want to spend time at home because it makes me feel happy.

the fun we all have together, lots of fun, talking, noise and laughter, wouldn’t have it any other way.

The people who live here and all the times we have shared, may there be many more!

The smell of brekkie and coffee sharing in the morning, the ear-splitting noises of our kids in the veggie garden, the spontaneous laughter and family banter during dinnertime, the loudest kiss goodnight before bed, all of these beautiful everyday moments make my ordinary house an extraordinary home!

I make a lot of my own things for the home cushions, hand towels,bed spreads etc and I also let the grand children do there bit to. I display they project on a mantle piece near the front door they are so proud of them.

A family makes a house a home, it doesn’t matter if you have a lot of money or a little, without a family it is not a home.

The memories and love that is created within makes my house a home.

I believe making a house my home is about all the little pieces that I have collected in my travels or in little nic nacs that represent me and my style. I love neutral colours and heaps of patterns- that’s what I aim for in my house decorations.

It’s not one single thing, it’s a culmination and the collective of us and our life … it’s who we are as individuals, family, children, husband and wife! It’s the echo of each moment which resounds within these walls!

The kids faces when I take the pizza out of the oven, re -arranging the furniture for the umpteenth time and dad falling asleep on the sofa ( if he can find it) from too much after dinner.

The way it is lovingly ‘decorated’ by my children, making memories and loving life as they go.

My house is a home because it has pictures of my family and friends. It has memories that can never be replaced and imperfection that will never be changed. That is what makes my house a home.
