10 lucky winners will receive a copy of The Drop-Off by Fiona Harris & Mike McLeish!

The Drop-Off is a hilarious look at the unlikely friendship between three parents who gossip, laugh, drink coffee and would rather keep to themselves at school drop off. A cross between Kitty Flanagan and Liane Moriarty, this is a novel that will make you laugh and cry while reminding us all of the redemptive power of friendship, community, forgiveness… and good coffee!

And it all begins at The Drop-Off.

Written by husband and wife team, Mike McLeish and Fiona Harris, The Drop-off is based on the award-winning, critically acclaimed web series of the same name.

  • Getting the closest carpark too the gate

  • My worst memory is when I was at school and was often the last kid to get picked up. It was sad.

  • I miss school drop off! I loved catching up with mums in the car park about the effort to get to school, play date planning, finding out who is doing what and all the other gossip after taking the kids in – and then running late to work!!

  • When my Dad picked us up in the front end of a semi trailer – there were a lot of wide eyed mums in the car park that day ! He thought it would be embarrassing but I loved it

  • Getting caught in conversations with the same ladies for a minimum of one hour after dropping off the children and then the same after school when picking the children up and then them “visiting” and destroying my house each day!

  • Taking my kids to school and realising when we got there that it was a public holiday! I wondered why it was so easy to get a parking space!

  • For me it was when I first got my licence, not overly confident and had someone parked either side and they had a conversation over my car. I couldn’t leave until 1 of them did.
