  • We had a hail storm and water was breaking through the ceiling. Whilst trying to brace the ceiling from collapsing my 2 year old walked into the room. Luckily my 5 year old son had the presence of mind to stop her and restrained her from going into the room.


  • My children seem to always come to the rescue when I am having a bad day or not feeling great… They just seem to know how to cheer me up, even with a simple smile or a hug. Love my kiddies. <3


  • I was out with my two children when a “friend” loudly announced it was so wonderful that I was pregnant again already. I was NOT. Thankfully, master three chose to announce then that he had to go to the toilet right away. I got to scurry away mortified.


  • every day he gives me the biggest hugs which always makes me feel better no matter how bad a day I’ve had


  • i was stuck in our shower when the door was jammed i had to talk my daughter through steps on how to use my phone to call my mum to help me get out


  • My toddler would run to get me a drink when I was nauseas during my pregnancy with her little sister.


  • We had just come home from the shops and my son walked past the car and peered into the boot and said “no pram, mummy,”. Sure enough I had forgotten to put it in the boot. We raced back to the shops and there it was sat on the pavement!


  • My almost 2 year old son took the call from the telemarketers – he can’t talk, but he’s happy to listen!


  • I have been suffering from migraines, my DS of 2 comes and asks “ooo okay Mummy” I say “Not Really…Could you please pray for Mummy”? He reaches for my hand, holds it, pauses and says AMEN :-) He melts my hearts, Love him to pieces XX


  • My kids come to my rescue whenever I need help they are always there willing and able to lend a hand without me even having to ask. Great role models for their friends.


  • My son informed me that it was “Daddy who ate all the Timtams” and not him! Always good having a little “Dibber dobber”..lol


  • My child is my dog and he comes to my rescue when I am sad and upset he is there for me.


  • Have a secret meeting with friends and plan the rescue mission


  • My daughter, like any child, reminds adults that growing up is optional. This rescues many of us from taking life too seriously!


  • My 3 yr old always has her eyes peeled she’s our resident bug spotter, a few weeks ago she spied a white tail spider on the door handle just before I was about to open it !


  • Mr 8 month old had just had an explosion. If i moved him things that shouldn’t leak out a nappy would have. I couldn’t take that risk. Miss 5 fetched all the required things to change the nappy. She literally came to the rescue of not only me, but the carpet, my clothes and anything else between where the crime happened and the nappy change bench.


  • My kids often drive me crazy but also keep me sane. When the little things in life get me down they help me to see all the important things are safe and happy right in front of me. M yids rescue me from getting caught up in life.

  • Miss 6 has come to the rescue since my hubby has been away as she has helped with story time in the evenings
