To celebrate the home entertainment release of Nick Jr.’s Bubble Guppies Get Ready For… School! on January 14, Universal Sony Pictures is giving you the chance to dive headfirst into the Guppy world with 25 DVDs up for grabs.

These underwater pre-schoolers are about to embark upon a nervous, but exciting first day of school. Passionate about discovering the world, the Bubble Guppies bring an insatiable curiosity to their colourful underwater school. When something sparks their interest, they sing, dance and play; exploring every possible facet of the world around them in the most energetically enjoyable way – become a part of their adventures for 5 swim-sational episodes!

    Always got on better with boys,
    But time with her I did and do enjoy.


  • My first day at kinder i climbed over the fence and ran down the street after my mum. The kinder now has a much much bigger fence around it…whoops


  • I have no recollection of my first day at school but when my son started his first day of school I remember being so proud of him and him looking so grown up and cute with his little backpack that I shed a few tears!

  • Don’t remember much about my first day of school just know my mum had to walk me in every morning. Wish my daughters was the same she was like bye mum I got this lol


  • Meeting my best friends who I’m still friends with 12 years later. Also being very nervous. My mother being emotional – oh how I remember


  • My first day I cried and cried, so my favourite things remember after that was the pancakes at the tuckshop, 4 for 20cents the brown paper bag and also the $2 note lol and it would buy both first and second lunches and have change 🙂


  • Meeting my lovely teacher and making new friends to play with at lunchtime. I also loved the little bottles of milk delivered by the milkman to school which we had to drink at first recess, and if you were quick you could get one of the very few flavoured ones, my favourite way strawberry.


  • I didn’t like it when my Mum left but I did like the rocking horse in the classroom. I stayed on it for most the day until one of the boys convinced me to come down and play cars.


  • It would be when I just walked up to this girl and said come on let’s be friends. So cute


  • My boy was so anxious and excited to be going to big school, he dashed off without his lunch and new equipment and school bag


  • I don’t remember much of my first day but I do remember being volleyball ted by my big brother at the end of the day! I remember being so happy to see him that I hugged him! lol. A rare occurrence- even 30 yeArs later! Hehe.

  • Going home haha. I think lots of kids are scared and nervous i know i was!! My son has his first day in a couple weeks and he is as nervous as i was.


  • Putting on the new uniform and having a photo with my siblings. I was so proud and loved the moment hugging and kissing everyone.


  • Well my first day at school was many years ago and that, but I do remember that is where I had met my childhood friend that first day and we were friends into our early 20s.
