  • Our first child was a premmie so we had to wait until he was out of NICU and in special care nursery before we gave him his first bath. It was well worth the wait even under the watchful eyes of all the midwives

  • Whilst I was pregnant I had nightmares often about my child drowning in the bath so I was always super super vigilant about bath time and never allowed myself to become distracted, never answered the phone luckily my dreams never came true and all my children are well, safe & alive today. This sounds silly but I have had previous dreams in the past that truly actually did come true so I was very worried about this.

  • I can’t remember for him but I guess any bath as a baby is awesome. I, as an adult, would love it!

  • Watching my grandchild’s (just a few weeks old) joy of feeling the lovely warm water around her in the bath as she kicks her little legs in delight.

  • Memorable…yes….pleasant…no LOL The bath time memory that comes to mind is the discovery of floating brown logs in the water that said child was looking at with great curiosity hehe….thankfully no photo to upload! 🙂

  • LOVES TO HAVE BUBBLES

  • Our son; who turned 10 the other day used to POO in the bath ALL THE TIME. It used to be hubby’s fave babytime, but soon became a “it’s your turn to scoop turd out of bath” event. Glad he outgrew it.

  • Probably when I’m not doing it! I always manage to get shampoo in his eyes!

  • The first time I bathed bub I was terrified and still recovering from the birth luckily I didn’t drop him but I was scared I would the whole time.

  • My baby is arriving this week so no current stories to share. But I’ll never forget the ingrained images of my 5 year old as a newborn, floating in a warm bath as if it was the most relaxing, meditative experience and then suddenly out of no where a huge smile would cross his face as if an angel told him the funniest joke.

  • Now at nearly 6 months old, he has just started to enjoy bath time. He splashes and giggles and makes one hell of a mess, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • When she started laughing when I sang to her.

  • Being able to sit in the bath and play with his big brother and splashing about.

  • When he decided he knew how to wash himself, he said to me: mummy I know how to wash myself and in a very grown up way asked me for the soap and was surprisingly good at washing all his bits

  • Having a bath with her big sister and her big sister decided she wanted to wash her and cuddle her and give her a massage in the bath. She giggled and loved it

  • My husband was the one that usually bath our newborn babies. I remembered there was once I said to him I would bath our baby (how hard can it be!), but the next second my baby was in the water. That freaked me out! He scooped him up and gave me a death look. But you know what? Baby was still playing as with nothing had just happened.

  • My son has fits of laughter when he gets to hold the shampoo. Not sure why but it is very funny!

  • When my daughter was in the newborn stage and was having my a bath, she smiled for the first time. It was a proper smile, I cried.

  • When she walks over to the glass partition and blows raspberries on the glass. Her cheeks explode and then she giggles like crazy. It’s my favourite part of bath time because we all have a good laugh.

  • The first time had a bath at home was so memorable for me each and everytime he had a one in his blue tub with his blue face towel being all warm, inside or outside just having bath time with my little one is memorable he loves bath time
