  • I take my children over to my Mums. Then my Mum enjoys having her Grandchildren and I get to have some me time without worry cause I know my Mum is a great Mum.

  • I lock myself in the bathroom it’s the only room in the house with a door lock

  • I take time out from the kids when they are asleep and the house is quite as a mouse with a cup of tea and a sneaky biscuit listening to the wind blowing gentle on my front verandah

  • I indulge myself by having a bath before bed while enjoying listening to my favourite relaxation music. Thank you.

  • I have a hot bath with lavender bath salts, resting my head on a bath pillow, with a cocktail drink and some nibbles whilst i read a magazine or play an online game.

  • Making sure I fit in walks or the gym 3 times a week to have something just for myself. I also enjoy soaking up the peace after the kids go to bed and watching a Netflix series or reading a good book – if I can stay awake that is.

  • I hit the gym hard,
    So I feel five star!
From yoga to a circuit class,
    I have a real blast.

  • I get some me time by getting my hair and nails done monthly

  • I have a Jacuzzi – luvly Bubbly for in’Spa’ration & relaxation!

  • A nice yoga class and massage

  • Spending time at the day spa would be amazing time out for a mum, so this would be an amazing present

  • I have taught my kids the importance of self care especially as a parent. I take 30mins to myself morning and night to practise mindfullness and Yoga.

  • i take time our by going out with the girls for a nice dinner and catch up with a few wines

  • Being a mom of 3, i would try to sneak in an afternoon nap with my newborn or just a cuppa with some rich chocolate cake for afternoon tea to pamper myself. Sometimes I’ll go out shopping and buy myself something i like or have lunch at one of my favourite restaurant.

  • I take out time to watch a movie and leave my husband to take care of our daughter.

  • Having 3 very young children I actually don’t get a lot of time to take time out from being a Mum. I became a Mum because I wanted to give my kids all of me. If by the off chance I do get time to myself it’s to shower for 5 mins in peace or go and get my hair done.

  • Well that actually doesn’t happen very often at all! Hub and ihave 7 kids between us… so going to work, the drive to and from work & showering are pretty much the only things i do…& rarely a date with my husband ;)

  • For so long I didn’t have much support to help me out with the kids. So the main way I was taking time out each day was by enjoying my first sip of coffee for the day. It’s still my essential start to the day because without it I’m kind of like Teka from Moana – the crazy, exhausted, fiery mummy monster.

  • Since bub #2 was born, my only time out is the shower, which I usually take after their Dad is home and lasts maximum 15 minutes. I try pretending I am under a waterfall in a holiday spot far away from my life. Ahh!

  • The only time I get to take out from being a Mum is when I’m in the shower or toilet… every other second of the day I’m too busy being a Mum to get any Me time…
