Hello!

Hi there, just wondering if anyone has recommendation for accomodation near Melbourne Chinatown for a family of 3? We planning to go in Jan next year. The only issue is trying to possibly a find hotel that has two separate room or a sofa bed in a separate room to accomodate my husband who is a heavy sleeper and my son who is 7 who want to sleep separately with me in another room complaining my husband snore too loudly. Any ideas is appreciated, thankyou!

  • Hesitant to recommend places because people do have different tastes and needs for accommodation. Also; because owners and managers of accommodation can change ownership and staff. We always go with the most current reviews and price comparisons when choosing accommodation; even some places we have previously stayed at when visiting Melbourne.

  • My first point of searching is always Booking .com, then once I refine the search and find options I like I contact the hotels directly. Most of the time they will give you a better deal when booking direct. You can make the search for 3 people 2 rooms and get results

  • We have stayed in various places in Melbourne and found great places to stay by an online search and then checking out reviews for feedback before choosing an option to meet our needs. It is a good idea to do a search with specific details such as how many rooms, breakfast, particular activities.

  • Unfortunately I don’t know a lot about Melbourne and the surrounding area so I am not much of a help but have you considered looking at AirBNB’s as another option as I am sure this could offer your family some alternative options. I hope you find a lovely place to stay on your holiday.
