A great way to save some money in a cost-of-living crisis whilst also supporting local independent grocers
I have absolutely loved using the new IGA Rewards app. In a cost-of-living crisis it’s important to save money wherever you can.. I love that I can do this at the same time as supporting my local independent grocer. I also found it a great way to try out some new products that I wouldn’t usually try, because the value was just so great.
I found the app very easy and straightforward to use, as well as the process of adding both my rewards card and Visa card to my Apple wallet.
I’m excited for the cashback to arrive in my account, and continue using this app for future grocery shops!

I was excited to be selected for this IGA Rewards review through Mouths of Mums - thanks so much for the opportunity!
With $60 to spend, I headed into my local IGA at Buddina with a list of offers I'd already "hearted" in the app ahead of time, which is a really helpful feature. Being able to browse the Offers section before you leave the house means you can plan your shop, keep an eye out for things relevant to your fam, and make the most of every $.
I'll be honest - a few of the items I'd saved weren't in stock or didn't appear to be stocked at this particular store, which was disappointing. But that's the nature of shopping at smaller local supermarkets, and it didn't put me off the experience. I still came home with a really solid haul!
I picked up BabyLove Nappies Size 2 ($5 cash-back HOW GOOD!), Band-Aid Tough-Strips, Nescafe Gold, Black & Gold Basmati Rice, Sirena Tuna (three tins - a pantry staple!), Western Star Butter, a couple tins of Ardmona Crushed Tomatoes, Community Co Apricot Halves, a Rokeby Farms Protein Smoothie, True Dates Cookie Dough flavoured dates (been wanting to try these for SO long), and a Rexona Men Clinical deodorant for the hubby.
I ended up going a little over and spending an extra $18 of my own money - but honestly, when you're saving on cash-back items, it feels worth it.
The IGA Rewards app is so simple and easy to use, and I genuinely think it's a no-brainer for any regular IGA shopper. Signing up takes minutes, and once you're in, you can scroll through available cash-back deals, heart the ones that suit your family, and head into the store already knowing what to look for.
In this economic climate, saving even a few dollars on your grocery shop is a genuine win - and the IGA Rewards app makes that process completely effortless.
I'll be watching my app for the cash-back to come through, and I'm already eyeing off the next round of offers for my next shop. If you're not already a member, I honestly cannot recommend it enough - it's free, it's easy, and every little saving adds up. Thanks again Mouths of Mums - I love being part of these reviews!

So The iga rewards app means that I can get rewarded for doing my regular shopping haul. There’s inspiration in the app to find products that have extra rewards money back so I loved checking out the weekly specials. I can also change store depending on which area of iga I’m going to !

Although I had a bit of an issue when trying to find my wallet on my phone to find the $60 voucher (amazing staff at my local IGA to the rescue) it was so easy to use and navigate the app. I first went through the cashback items and 'hearted' all the ones that looked good to me.
I then headed in store and got shopping. I was able to get 9 of the 15 items I wanted which I was very happy with. Checkout was easy and friendly and the team asked right away if I have my Rewards Card to scan. I think they love the idea as much as we do.
I have to say the icing on the cake for me was that the items that you can get cashback on were Black and Gold or Community Co items - You didn't have to spend the big bucks to get the rewards.

I am still a bit hesitant when it comes to using an app to buy things or to put my member card on, but IGA makes it so incredibly easy. Everything, from your receipts, to your member card, to your cashback offers is right at your fingertips.
Also the cashback offers is for me the best rewards system on the market at this time.
You get back some serious dollars on your weekly groceries. No hundreds/thousands of dollars to spend to get points to have a measly 10 dollars off your shop... Real, actual savings.
I just did a shop for 59 AUD and have 27 dollars in cashback waiting for me. That is HUGE and goes a long way during these hard times...
Plus, on the app you have the option to tap on the cashback offers and see all of the barcodes for the products you get cash back on and what the limit of products is.
My husband LOVES the Uncle Ben's Rice pouches... So I clicked on the cash back offer to see all of the products I could buy that would earn me some cash back (turns out, nearly all of them, so I saved big and made my other half very happy.. Win win!)
If there is one little thing I would change, is that the cashback gets processed sooner... But that is a minor detail. As long as we get the cashback, we're happy campers!
If you are like me and not good with technology and/or hesitant to use it... Give this app a go. IGA has made it so easy to use AND you earn money while doing your basic weekly grocery shop!

Before heading in I put my IGA card and my IGA Visa card in my Apple Wallet, easy process. Now I also looked at the cash back offers. There were 58, I found the easiest thing to do was put the ones I was interested in on my favourites page. Once in store I had an idea of what I wanted, not all products were in store. The check out process was easy and once back in the car I looked at the app and seen what was tracked. Now just to wait for cash back.

What a fantastic app - so easy to use and actually; a bit of fun to switch up the boring top up shop at the supermarket!
The instructions on the app for how to download your membership card and Visa cards are both easy to understand, the way you gain points is straightforward too. The items for the cash back were really good, items I actually get in my shop - not just random items you don’t use often. I will be using this every time I shop at my local Iga - looking forward to see how much I can save and how much money I get back.

I really loved the opportunity to try the IGA rewards app. The app is so easy to use and you can manage all related cards and info in one app and do not have to download multiple apps. The My Offers feature is what I love the most as I can see which items I can earn cash back on and mark them as favorite. The app and cards were easier to use in store and the staff was able to scan them after minor intial issues.

This is such a great incentive! I buy the products I would normally get elsewhere and earn cash back for a future shop! There were roughly 50 offers with some cash back offers being up to $5. I missed out on some great offers having been on a family road trip which I am so cut that I missed out on but I will definitely be keeping an eye out in future. This is such a game changer while we are struggling with the cost of living!
The app is also fairly streamline and easy to use and I LOVE that it shows the product and barcode of the items included in the offers so there is no guesswork whether you have selected the correct product.

I was really surprised how easy the app was to use. I added my IGA Visa Debit Card to my Apple Pay wallet and we were set. The kids and I had looked through the app and noticed they had meatballs and ice cream cones on the cash back offers. So we decided on spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and ice cream in cones for dessert among the bargains.Off we went to our local IGA to get what we needed. We were a little disappointed that they didn’t stock the meatballs but with a quick change of plans we opted for one of my Quick recipes using IGA sausages, continental curried chicken pasta and frozen vegetables and of course the ice cream and cones. We headed to the checkout and it was as easy as. The operator simply entered our iga card details and I tapped and go and off we went.
I didn’t even know this app existed let alone the fact that I could save money with it. Now every week we go through the app checking out all the bargains especially those that give us cash back on purchases. I’ve told family and friends as well because it’s so easy to use and saves you money. Added bonus I can send my teenager in and she can use it with no dramas

I was so excited to do this review as I shop at Perrier IGA in Rockhampton regularly. Firstly I had no idea about the IGA app or the cashback or anything and as a mum of a large family I love anything that saves me money.
The kids and I had gone through the list of cashback offers and decided on Meatballs in pasta sauce and spaghetti for tea. Then ice ice cream in cones for dessert. We were a little disappointed that our IGA didn’t have any of the meatballs in stock and the assistant wasn’t sure they stocked that brand at that store. So we checked the app again and decided on curried sausages using IGA sausages and continental chicken curry pasta and sauce and Some veggies. Not forgetting the ice cream and cones. We got to the checkout and it was so easy to pay. I had simply added my IGA app Visa debit card to my Apple wallet and after the beautiful sales assistant had typed in our IGA card number it was a simple tap and go. The app is so easy to use and along with specials it shows all the cash back items as well. Next time I’ll send my teenager in knowing she won’t have any issues using the card. I also love the extra safety feature when logging in with the verification code
All in all I’m glad I have it now and will absolutely be using it at every shop.

I recently downloaded the IGA app and have been really impressed with how easy and convenient it is to use. It’s a fantastic way to quickly see what’s in store, browse current specials, and stay up to date with offers all in one place. The app is very user-friendly, simple to navigate, and much more convenient than scrolling through a website or catalogue. It has made shopping with IGA so much easier and more enjoyable.

Never walking into IGA without checking the cashbacks
I have been using IGA rewards since June 2025 and I absolutely love it. Trying to feed a family in this cost of living is crazy and receiving Cash Back for items I was already going to buy is a no brainer. I have gotten sauces for as little as .50c - $1. I have checked before going in and managed to get full Cash Back on some items making them free for me! I love the Cash Back system and it has saved me at the end of pay week when I remember I have some cash waiting for me!

I love the concept behind the new IGA Rewards Cashback! It’s really simple to use: just look at the My Offers tab on the app to see which items are eligible for a Cashback offer. While some items weren’t relevant to my family (like the pet food offers!) there were plenty that were perfect for our needs, so I got organised and added the ones I knew we would buy to my Favourites list simply by tapping the heart in the app. I headed into my local IGA with my kids in tow and looked for the items on my Favourites list, and deliberately planned my shop around items I knew would earn me Cashback. It was as easy as scanning my IGA Rewards card at the till to activate the Cashback offers. With the cost of living crisis this is absolutely a great incentive from IGA to shop local while earning Cashback. Love it!

I recently had the opportunity to put the IGA awards app through its paces with a $60 budget, and I was presently surprised by how much more rewarding it felt compared to traditional point based programs. You actually are earning actual cashback. It’s not just points as far more rewarding for you every day living.

I was so excited with IGA rewards came out and I make sure to use my card every shop. I find it’s a great way to save a little money and it tailors the available cash back items to you the more that you shop. So far I’ve taken $30 off my shop. I would have given 5 stars if I could use my card at all IGA’s instead of being limited to just one.

I’ve been really impressed with my experience shopping at IGA Wyee, especially when it comes to their app and rewards program. Most of the prices are pretty reasonable, but what really stood out to me is how easy it is to plan your shop through the app.
You can actually go in beforehand and map out exactly what you want to spend, which makes it so much easier to maximise cashback and savings. It takes the guesswork out of budgeting and helps you shop smarter, not harder.
The rewards card was also super simple to set up – I added it straight to my phone wallet and now just tap and pay every time I shop. No digging around for cards or forgetting points.
For me, it’s all about the convenience and control the app gives you. If you’re someone who likes to stay on top of your spending and make the most of rewards, it’s definitely worth using.

I have quite a few shopping rewards apps, but I don’t use them religiously. I find them to be a bit clunky and limited with rewards.
Recently I began using the IGA Rewards app, and I love it!
It shows everything at a glance, including cash back specials (yay, money back for me), offers, perks from partners; and a whole host of other features.
Budgeting is tight with the cost of living, so saving on prices and getting cash back on everyday purchases are really appealing to me, and is probably my favourite feature in the app. That, and that I can use the IGA rewards visa in my Apple wallet to tap and pay, it automatically loads with any cash back I’ve earned.
The cash back offers are clear in how much they reward, and contain a good selection of items across all sections in the supermarket, so there will be something for everyone. This week my treat was Connoisseur icecream and lush chocolate fudge sauce. It tasted even better knowing I got a little cash back too. Thanks IGA!

My local IGA doesn't have the ability to scan the rewards card, and so the staff had to look up my membership number. This wouldn't have been a problem, except for the fact that the only staff member who knew what to do wasn't available. This left me waiting a significant amount of time for assistance, and resulted in me being late to an appointment. I almost left the store and wasn't going to worry about it. Once help arrived, the transaction was reasonably smooth, but upon checking my account I realised that no points were registered from my shop. Whilst I appreciate the chance to try the app, there needs to be more work done- especially at the store level- to make me want to try again.

Before getting chosen to try out the IGA rewards app by Mouth of Mums, I didn’t know that IGA rewarded you with cashback for shopping in store.
I was excited to be given the opportunity to try it out for myself.
I headed into my local store to do a small top up shop. The downside was that my local store was a smaller IGA so many of the items I had been keen to purchase weren’t sold in this store. I also found that on the other hand, some of the offers available for cashback were quite popular and those items were sold out. Next time I’m definitely going to head to a bigger IGA store where hopefully all the cashback items will be in stock and available.
Also having to wait about 48 hours to see your transactions be processed on your app and then to wait a further 48 hours once you reach $20 minimum for your IGA cash to be able to be used on your card is a minor drawback.
It was amazing to see some of the homebrand ranges like Community Co & Black and Gold as some of the products on offer to earn IGA cash. They are already great value for money and to earn extra money back buying these items is incredible.
I’m definitely going to keep shopping at IGA in the future and make sure to take advantage of the products on offer to earn myself cashback towards future shops. It’s great to be able to shop and support local at the same time as being rewarded just for buying for groceries. At this time with the cost of living, anywhere you can make your money stretch further helps.
Highly recommend for you to check it out for yourself!

I’ve been using the IGA Rewards App for cashback offers and honestly it’s been worth it. My IGA didn’t have a heap of products in stock so I picked up what i could and what I would use. I picked up a few everyday items like a Sara Lee sticky date pudding, Up&Go, Lipton iced tea, BBQ marinade, pasta, jam, and crackers, and got cashback on several of them through the app.
What I like is that it’s not complicated you just scan your card at checkout, and the cashback builds up pretty quickly if you’re already buying those brands. It actually makes a difference on a regular shop, especially with branded items that are usually more expensive.
Only downside is that not everything is included, and sometimes the offers are a bit specific. But if you plan your shop around what’s on offer, you can save a decent amount without changing much.
Overall, it’s a solid rewards app and definitely worth using if you shop at IGA regularly.

I’m really impressed with the IGA rewards system! It’s my local supermarket but I’d usually venture to the bigger name supermarkets to take advantage of their rewards. Knowing I can easily receive cash back on many of my purchases is a great incentive for me to now shop closer to home! I like that you receive the dollar value straight back as opposed to points. Lots of the available cash back items were things I purchase regularly anyway so I’m thrilled to have money back in my pocket!

The IGA app was surprisingly easy to use and navigate, the offers available for earning cash back were easy to locate and clear about the cash back offer you would receive per item.
During my shop I did notice my offers that were listed in the app were not stocked in my local IGA with location set.
Being rewarded for shopping is a bonus and with a close and easy location makes running in to either re-stock or organising school lunches and dinners a breeze.
I would recommend using the rewards membership and app especially if you are local to an IGA

‘I Grabbed My Car Keys And RAN!’ The New Supermarket Bread Everyone’s Talking About
Mum-of-two Rebecca McCracken has spent the last four years reading ingredient lists on pretty much everything she buys at the supermarket.
Like many parents raising kids with food allergies, a quick trip to the supermarket often means checking labels, comparing products and hoping to find something the whole family can eat.
Bec’s four-year-old son and 17-month-old daughter were both born with cow’s milk protein allergy. While her son has since outgrown his allergies, her toddler still reacts to dairy, making even everyday staples like bread a challenge.
“Unless we buy expensive sourdough for seven or eight dollars, we don’t really have a choice.”
Even then, it’s not ideal.
“A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich,” Bec laughs. “And fairy bread on sourdough is not great.”
A New Loaf On The Block
Bec runs an online community for allergy families, so she spends plenty of time sharing recipes, product finds and supermarket discoveries with other parents.
It was one of those parents who first told her about new JUST bread.
“A follower messaged me and said, ‘Oh my gosh, this bread is coming soon.’ I was like, ‘Where? When? I need to know. I’m getting my car keys and running!'”
Made with baker’s flour, water, yeast, vinegar, oil and salt, JUST bread contains no artificial preservatives, flavours or colours.
For Bec, it sounded almost too good to be true. “When we saw JUST bread, I was like, ‘You’re joking.’ A bread that’s fresh baked but in the bread aisle? That’s unheard of for us.”
“It was really exciting for our family and for the allergy community.”
The Family’s Toughest Critic Approved
Of course, there was one person whose opinion mattered more than anyone else’s.
“My toughest critic is my daughter. She is so fussy. We know something is really good if she approves it, and she approves it. She loves it. She’ll eat it plain, toasted, as French toast … whatever. She loves it.”
Bec says she was impressed too.
“I like it. I like that it’s only got minimal ingredients and doesn’t have the additives and preservatives that are in a lot of other brands.”
A Simpler Option For Everyday Families
Bec tried out JUST bread because of her family’s allergies, but she says it has a broader appeal.
“I think everyone is becoming more conscious of additives and preservatives in their food.”
It’s a feeling many of us can probably relate to. We don’t all want to overhaul the way we eat, but plenty of us are paying a little more attention to ingredient lists and looking for products that keep things simple.
Bread is one of those foods that’s always around. It ends up in lunchboxes, on the breakfast table, alongside soup on a cold night and covered in hundreds and thousands at birthday parties. When we eat something that often, it’s only natural to wonder what’s in it.
JUST bread keeps things simple with a handful of pantry ingredients and no artificial preservatives, flavours or colours. It’s the sort of loaf that fits easily into busy family life without asking us to compromise on taste or convenience.
Little Changes, Big Difference
For Bec, finding a loaf of bread her whole family can enjoy is about more than ticking another item off the shopping list.
“It seems like such a little thing to the normal community, but for us this is a massive win.”
Being able to make sandwiches without worrying about ingredients. Packing lunchboxes a little more easily. Bringing back fairy bread for birthdays. Sometimes it’s the little things that make family life feel a whole lot simpler.
And while Bec found JUST bread because she needed another allergy-friendly option, its simple ingredient list is likely to appeal to plenty of other families too. After all, when we can choose everyday foods made with ingredients we recognise, that’s a pretty good place to start.
JUST Bread is made on a line that also processes soy and sesame.
Mouths of Mums is proudly working with JUST. to bring you this article. JUST bread is made with just a handful of pantry ingredients. JUST. The Good Stuff.
I am so glad to hear about this and will definitely be on a look out for this in the supermarket. I have noticed that there are starting to be more ‘cleaner’ products in the supermarket, meaning consumers are being heard. We are going full circle back to how foods use to be produced before companies got greedy and started taking shortcuts to producing food items. I hope we continue seeing more preservative and additive free options that are affordable come back in the supermarkets.

Grabbing your car keys and running for a bread ?? I can’t imagine doing so for a bread lol ! It’s nice to see that more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and put on the market.
I don’t agree with the statement that “A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich”. It depends on what type of bread you introduce to your kids. My kids grew up with 7 seeds, rustic bread and sourdough and they love it. It’s also quite easy and cheap to make sourdough bread yourself.
I haven’t seen this bread in the supermarket but will be looking for it now. I have been trying to avoid preservatives and additives for some time now and as highlighted in the article bread it difficult to find, or super expensive, without them so I don’t have it often.
This is fantastic, finally a bread that is not full of nasty stuff. I will be going straight out to buy this. My son has ARFID and will only eat white bread, but it’s not terribly healthy. With this bread, at least I know that it is much healthier than the alternatives. Woohoo
I cant wait to give this bread a go (so far its always been sold out at my local woolies so it must be good). So good its suitable for those with allergies too. I think nowadays were all looking for cleaner options of ingredients in our foods so this is a step in the right direction.
I am glad more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and offered. I don’t agree with Bec’s statement that kids don’t like sourdough bread. My kids were introduced to sourdough and the most rustic and seeded breads from the time they started to eat bread, and they love it
Oh I cannot wait to try this bread! We go through that much bread each week and I always feel so guilty with how much my kids have – not anymore! Would love to see them introduce other variants in the future – multigrain and gluten free would be superb!
This is such a great product that I’m looking forward to trying! I’ve only been buying bread from bakeries the last few years because grocery store bread texture was so dense and unpleasant. But the hassle with bakery bread is I can’t get it everywhere! I’ll be really keen to give this a go

A great way to save some money in a cost-of-living crisis whilst also supporting local independent grocers

Effortless cash back haul

Great cashback offers, great app!

Who doesn’t love points and cash back!?
The instructions on the app for how to download your membership card and Visa cards are both easy to understand, the way you gain points is straightforward too. The items for the cash back were really good, items I actually get in my shop - not just random items you don’t use often. I will be using this every time I shop at my local Iga - looking forward to see how much I can save and how much money I get back.

Amazing Rewards Program!
The app is also fairly streamline and easy to use and I LOVE that it shows the product and barcode of the items included in the offers so there is no guesswork whether you have selected the correct product.

Awesome Bargains
I didn’t even know this app existed let alone the fact that I could save money with it. Now every week we go through the app checking out all the bargains especially those that give us cash back on purchases. I’ve told family and friends as well because it’s so easy to use and saves you money. Added bonus I can send my teenager in and she can use it with no dramas

Bargains Everywhere

Easy to use, big savings!

My new favourite app!
Thanks IGA!

Great app that rewards you for shopping

Great app
What I like is that it’s not complicated you just scan your card at checkout, and the cashback builds up pretty quickly if you’re already buying those brands. It actually makes a difference on a regular shop, especially with branded items that are usually more expensive.
Only downside is that not everything is included, and sometimes the offers are a bit specific. But if you plan your shop around what’s on offer, you can save a decent amount without changing much.
Overall, it’s a solid rewards app and definitely worth using if you shop at IGA regularly.

Member rewards app
During my shop I did notice my offers that were listed in the app were not stocked in my local IGA with location set.
Being rewarded for shopping is a bonus and with a close and easy location makes running in to either re-stock or organising school lunches and dinners a breeze.
I would recommend using the rewards membership and app especially if you are local to an IGA
