Most charities accept donations. Maybe try looking on Facebook for some sort of for sale or giveaway pages

Most charities are happy to accept clothing but many will not take cots or high chairs as they don’t want to be responsible/liable for the safety of the items as they are second hand.

I would think most charities would accept donated clothing.

St Kilda Mums does great work and are always looking for donations.

If you have a Red Cross Opportunity Shop I am sure they will accept them. They sell quite a lot of baby clothes at very reasonable prices – sometimes very low. McDonald House is another place that may be pleased to have them. Sometimes a sick child may be rushed to a hospital and parents not have time to grab clothes for the kids. Or they may have come from a hot climate to a cold one. Check with you local Childrens Hospital. Children in more need of clothes are those rushed from country areas to hospital, the parents don’t know their way around the area, and don’t to leave their sick child alone to go searching. Some will say they don’t have room to store things. That is not always the case. Our local hospital has a play area where sick or sibling children play under supervision. It is yet another set of circunstances where they may need clothes, toys etc. If you take your baby to CAFS for check-ups, weighing etc. they may be aware of somebody who desperately needs help. Some church groups collect and then distribute baby clothes to families in need.

St Kilda Mums is a wonderful organisation. There’s also one on the Peninsula that I can think of the name of at the minute…

The salvation army is a good place

put an add in the paper and you will get rid of it all the same day. there are so many needy with todays economy

The salvation army helps a lot of families in need. Sometimes even if your clothes don’t go directly to the family, the money made from along your donations so go towards helping these families. So all works out the end.

I have recently been told about st kilda mums, they collect goods and give them to people in need.

there are a few face book pages. you could try or take them to school.

giv them away on facebook pages.. i wouldnt take them to an opshop as they charge people way to much these days

take them to kindy and write free on them.

Lighthouse are great any church that might run an op shop on their own.

If you’re in Melbourne, Mummies and Babes in Need do wonderful work for parents going through incredibly difficult times, such as women who’ve left abusive relationships, etc. They are on facebook. The volunteers who work with this group are amazingly dedicated.

The Salvos are a wonderful service to donate to.
