When I was learning a few years back, I found a lot of free patterns on the internet . Then once you master the basics , you can even find some good books at stores such as Spotlight, Lincraft or Online etc …There are so many to choose from these days and mixed in with a lot of levels ranging from easy to advanced, so look through them and find the one you need .

I have posted a comment on a baby blanket article and mentioned how I learnt the basics on Utube. Start with that first , learn the basics as you are a beginner and it is good to read some theory first before doing it hands on . Once you master how to hold the hook properly , you will gain confidence very quickly and there are so may pattern on a lot of websites for beginners. Good luck .

I have been learning to crochet through the wonders of YouTube. I just search for the item I want to create and then find the best pattern video that suits my needs. I’m still a beginner but I’m having so much success!

A blanket is a pretty easy learn garment. Once you master the corners, you can incorporate lots of different crochet stitches.

Have you looked on youtube? they have great tutorials.

I’d also suggest trying YouTube. There are some very easy to follow tutorials and someone may have posted what you are looking for. I am also just learning how to crochet. Good luck 🙂

I love U-tube. If I’m unsure about a certain step in making something wether it be in cooking or sewing I always can find the answers there.
