Hello!

My son is about to turn two. I’m not sure what to get him as a present. Do you have any ideas?

  • I find great presents are activity presents – a cricket bat, soccer ball or a butterfly net – something fun they can use outside.

  • Balance bike, trucks/cars, dinosaurs, duplo a sandpit, or maybe some sort of experience ie zoo, wildlife park etc.

  • Books and colouring in books might be good.

  • Train set

  • Definitely a scooter, one of the best is the Mini Micro Scooter.

  • Does he like building? =) my 2 yo was stoked to get duplo or mega blocks,

  • What about a balance bike? We bought a wooden kitchen for our daughter’s 2nd birthday from Aldi

  • Books! My sons loved books at that age (and still do at 4 and 14) There are some great suggestions here: https://mouthsofmums.com.au/top-10-picture-books-2-year-olds/
(*edited post as I read it properly after I posted – sorry)

  • Books! Find out what he likes and find a book to suit. There are some great suggestions here: https://mouthsofmums.com.au/top-10-picture-books-2-year-olds/

  • duplo, anything Thomas the tank

  • Maybe a bike with training wheels

  • zoo or museum annual year passes for yourself and your partner.

  • The Little People products are fantastic! Great for boys and girls. They also sell a cute Christmas stall! :-) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Christmas-Fisher-Price-Little-People-Kerststal-Weihnachten-Stall-Buy-Now-/290804006076

  • Octonauts and little people. My son loves little figurines, they keep him occupied for hours!

  • Boys love tonker trucks

  • My son will be two in Feb. For Christmas he is getting a scooter as he already uses my daughters (and has used it for the past 6 months) and for his birthday we are getting him a balance bike as he is almost too big for his trike!

  • Duplo

  • My boys love Duplo. Also they love ANYTHING with wheels :-) :-) :-).

  • At that age they are not very materialistic.. And tend to be happy with little things.. When my son turned 2 I got him a pack of hot wheels cars and he was as happy has ever!

  • thanks for your ideas. i am just stuck for ideas lol
