Hello!

First Christmas should be a special time for everyone including our little ones.  What would you suggest as a nice and tasty Christmas meal for a 9 month old baby?

  • oh, chrissy is over – I would have gone light on the meal, and given my son an icecream – Eskimo Pies were huge when Nick was little, and he made the biggest mess, and adored every bit he got in his mouth LOL

  • something healthy, that you know she loves – she ain’t going to remember!!

  • same veg as you and small amounts of meat.

  • Roast Veggies are delicious and still soft enough for early eaters to grip and suck the goodness from the middle. Roasted meat can also be cut down to tiny portions, and mixed together with the centres of the roast vegetables with a tiny bit of gravy – super delicious and a little bit more fussy than the usual meal.

  • How about a plate full of christmas themed baby foods? Like a watermelon christmas tree, a star shaped piece of toast, a rusk dipped in yoghurt or avocado. For dessert, try adding some yoghurt or custard to a fruit gel! Enjoy baby’s first christmas!

  • Same as what you are having vegetable wise just softer
How long has bin been eating for also as by this age should be able to do lumpy foods or finger stick sized food.
And Deseret rice pudding/ fruit salad
    Any thing no too sweet.
Our oldest was 6 months at Xmas and ate the same as us just mushed / diced up but not together for something different so carrot by it self peas ect 10.5 yrs later lives he’s fruit and veggies

  • if thy are on solids use a blender or food processor of sorts and purée whatever you are having (well the kid friendly stuff)
