Hello!

We are planning to have a family midweek getaway or staycation in an affordable boutique hotel or bed and breakfast in Sydney to celebrate a birthday. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Check out air bnb thats what we used when we stayed in Sydney.

  • I would recommend wotif or stayz online.

  • Hi guys, thanks for the inputs, ended up staying in a boutique hotel instead of the B&B. We stayed in Blue Sydney finger wharf for its character. Thanks again!

  • What place did you decide on? Hope you had success in finding a top place to stay.

  • check it out online! these booking places will give you a good deal and then do what i do, ring the place and tell them the price that you see the room is available for. They will book you in at the price (sometimes even cheaper or a better than advertised room) and they will love you! the booking site gets a commission to “book” and plus, the hotel still has to pay the site to advertise! that’s why you won’t see a lot of the cheaper places on it. The hotel (esp’ small family run things) would rather pass the discount onto you instead of the booking site.

  • Preferably just near downtown area. :)

  • Q Station right on Sydney Harbour, is one of Australia’s most significant heritage and environmental landmarks. You have 30 acres to explore the Sydney Harbour National Park at North Head. If you want to stay in The Rocks area Sydney Harbour Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful old world B&B stay. http://www.bbsydneyharbour.com.au/ Always check out the B&B or Motel on Tripadvisor before you book see what others say about their stay. http://www.tripadvisor.com.au/

  • What part of Sydney? inner or outer?

  • try wot if online! They have all sorts of deals all the time
