My suggestion is go online to identify direct they have great gifts ideas for teachers from kids or else you could just buy a blank coffee mug and use ceramic paints and get ur child to put something on it and fill with lollies or chocolates.
If it’s for the end of the year, I usually buy handmade Christmas ornaments locally made from markets etc. It’s a nice idea to have the children make them too.
I was at a party plan thing on the weekend and found a brilliant set of bright funky tea towels that said ‘If teachers were apples I’d pick you’, or something like that. The company was called Loads of Linen.
Pop on pintrest and do a search for teacher gifts so many awesome ideas, my children usually do a reindeer hand print Christmas decoration and a bag of those yummy aldi German cookies
Home made ornaments for the Christmas tree.
Home made card.
Home made white Christmas, rum balls or fudge.
A favourite recipe typed or written and framed.
My daughter did a hand print in plaster of Paris set. Before it dried we used a toothpick and wrote in the hand from (childs name) and the date. My daughter then painted it. We wrapped it up nicely in Christmas coloured cellophane with pretty ties. Her Prep teacher loved it! Said she had never received such a gift before as a teacher and it was something very special!
The past coupe of years I have baked and decorated some biscuits and wrapped in cellophane and ribbon however I have just learnt how to make Jam so am going to do that for christmas this year
