My eldest son who is 4 is autistic and we have recently got involved with NDIS but nothing seems to be working with toilet training. We brought a little mini toilet that looks identical to ours and so far he thinks its a toy. Ive tried those cards they give you so try and communicate with him that arnt really working, he wants to talk his just struggling to get words out so i was just wondering if anyone else has been through this and have any ideas on what we might be able to try to get him to respond? We no its a long road but we have to wait months just to get appointments so where trying what we can at home while we wait.
Forum Any suggestions on how to toilet train a autistic child?
