Has anyone ever received a false pregnancy blood test?

Hello!

Has anyone ever received a false pregnancy blood test? “I need some advice – Just wondering if you or anyone you know has ever had a pregnancy blood test that has come back negative but should have been positive as they actually were pregnant? I appreciate your help, thanks.”

Yep mine said negative but I was pregnant, a few days later it was right

No this has never happened to me, but I have heard that it can happen.

Yes, I would have been 10 1/2 weeks when my blood test was negative. I was well into my second trimester when my pregnancy was confirmed with another test and an ultrasound. If you’re in doubt, keep asking the doctor to investigate.
I have also had a blood test correctly confirm I was pregnant at 4 weeks, when the urine test was inconclusive, and another correct at 3 1/2 weeks.

It would have to be very early to not show up in a blood test.

It happened to my wife, she was pregnant and got a false blood test it said negative and she was pregnant. It wasn’t until she was about 3 months or so pregnant that it came up positive.

Yes I had a negative result from urine test at Drs office when I would’ve been 6 weeks. Became very apparent a few weeks later that I was indeed pregnant.

you can have a false negative but it is extremely rare for false positive
