  • I have a couple of Jamie Oliver cookbooks. One is called Everyday Superfoods, it is brilliant for easy, super healthy recipes using normal super healthy foods. It’s a regular go to for me and never disappoints

  • home-made vegetarian pizza’s or even good quality bought ones with thin crust. I make frittatta’s with left over veggies and salads, or can be served with meat.lots of good recipe books in local libraries so you can pick and chose, also magazines are full of ideas too

  • You could have a look at http://gustopaleo.com for different ideas

  • If you have facebook there are some great pages that have lots of healthy family recipes, i like the page skinnymixers its great.

  • Basmati rice cooked then frozen. Then defrost, Finely dice up baby spinach,ee of bacon no fat, spring onions, mushrooms, capsicums, grated carrot, finely diced onion and some hoison sauce cook it all up and its a yummy nutrious fried rice :-)

  • Veggie burgers are a great healthy meal! I was a little sceptical about this at first, but honestly they don’t taste bad at all! I was quite surprised and even my kids love them!. You could do pasta vegie bakes with chicken. What ever you decide to cook just serve small amounts but add large portions of salad or vegetables so this is the part of the meal that will fill you up. Stir-fry meals are a great option. check out recipe sites like Taste, All Recipes and Coles….they all have fantastic recipes to chose from.

  • I personally find stir frys are easily one fo the quickest and best ways to eat healthy. Not only can you get alot of nutrients through throwing lots of veges inbut using things like silverbeet or spinach can help with your iron intake and you can have veges that can help with any allergies (eg. Broccoli is filled with calcium and Im lactose intolerant). I would suggest getting the Lose baby Weight cookbooks from their site once you have had your bub as well as they are very healthy and good for BFing (if you choose to go that way) and nutrient filled as well
