  • My niece had her downstairs waxed regularly. She said it hurt a lot at first, but the more it was done, the less pain she’s felt. She ended up tweezing the area once and felt no pain

  • A hot shower first as this softens the skin and the hair doesn’t resist as much

  • Wishful thinking perhaps! 😉 Someone else doing the wax for you would at least make it quicker! Less time to be in pain?

  • I don’t think so, maybe have a hot shower first!

  • Maybe have a bath or shower that is warm this will open the pores and hopefully be less painful for you.

  • Ha ha ha I don’t think it gets less painful but the more you do it the more you can tolerate it over the years.

  • I wish I knew some way to dull the pain 🙁

  • there are some good comments here

  • Wot ever u take for a headache… Take half hr prior to waxing! It helps dull the pain

  • don’t have one, use hair removing cream.

  • Some good advice there below.

  • maybe try having it done professionally and if you already are ask them if there is something you can do to make it less painful

  • No ideas! It’s always painful to me!

  • What have you ended up doing?

  • Haha, um, shave? Do you have this professional done as maybe you could try that to see if there is a difference in technique?

  • how did it turn out

  • What did you end up doing?

  • When your skin is warm, it hurts less
