I don’t think it’s very good for a vacuum cleaner to use outside, unless it’s made for outside use. Those leaf blowers aren’t that expensive nowadays. I used to live at the edge of a reserve with loads of trees around and used my blower daily.

I vacuum our front pebblecrete porch and back patio and our garage floor… brooms just dont seem to get it all…

What is it that is making it so unclean? Ie if it is leaves the blower vacs are pretty cheap now. I’ll admit I’ve vacuumed area immediate to the front door on occasion due to leaves, dust, dirt but I wouldn’t do the whole courtyard as I have dogs and don’t think the vacuum would ever be the same

I use a blower or sweep up once a fortnight. One of my neighbours has a special vacuum for her balconies and decks though.

I tried once with a bagless cleaner… the thing broke 🙁

I’ve never vacummed outside before (except for the car) but you could always buy a cheap mini vacumm cleaner just for outside.

I’ve seen cheap blower vacs and even cheap vacuums. I’d get something for it in case it damages your vacuum.

id invest in a cheap blower vac instead of risking my good indoor vacuum

My sister has used her wet and dry vacuum barrel vacuum outside. You can buy a blower at Reject, l got one last year for $40. I saw they had them in there again on the weekend. They don’t cost much and could be better than risking you vacuum cleaner.
