I’d go for leg ham on the bone.

i would just find a good local butcher and ask them. choice comes down greatly to what your using it for eg. cold sliced, oven glaze ect

I love any ham, but not too keen on too much of the smoked ones as I don’t really like that type of flavour .

We always get a Bertochi ham, on the bone.
We love the ham & our dog loves the bone he gets afterwards so everyone gets a treat.

Leg ham on the bone is always delicious& if you are alone a small loin wood smoked ham is brilliant costing from $6 up at Woolworths.My favourite.

This is an easy one for me – the ham of choice for our family is Bertocchi – moist, the bone doesn’t go off, and the leftovers can be frozen for great pea and ham soup!

Definately leg ham boneless triple smoked by a special company in toorak called “Brazen Bean” onthe corner of grange road. They also did a turkey which was absolutely beautiful i cannot describe how good it was. it’s a type of catering company, that makes brilliant meals even just for home to keep in the fridge or freezer for those tired nights.

all I can think of now is tasty delicious ham of all sorts – shoulder, leg, smoked, honey glazed. I think I am having a Homer moment!
