Hello!

I am getting my daughter a Nintendo Switch for Christmas and I am unsure what games to get. There are so many to choose from. What ones would you recommend?

  • Such a lovely age with a huge variety of games available to choose from! There is plenty of traditionally ‘girly’ ones available like Barbie etc or you can go with traditional Mario or sonic etc or even a pet game or a multi game collection! Just choose whatever you think she would like best and you would be happy to see her play

  • I’m sure she will be delighted with your gift ! In regards to games I think it all depends on what interests she has. When she is into Barbie and princesses than “Barbie Dream house adventures” or “Princess Peach Showtime” could be great option. Or when she is a Bluey fan than “Bluey Nintendo Switch Game” could for example be great.

  • This was asked a month ago, and this was the recommendation I made at the time; Mario games are very fun, and there are versions where you can play with up to four people on your tv. We bust out Mario party frequently. There’s also Lego party that can play up to 4 people. We also have the classics like Spyro Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot. So many fun options

  • Oh how exciting for her! Im not sure which switch you have but we have the version that allows us to hook up and connect onto a TV or screen. We bought the just dance game and they play it on the big screen, using the controllers as the sensors. They absolutely love the songs and dances on them!

  • My daughters first nintendo game was paw patrol, this was an easy game to navigate and now her younger daughter at 4 can play it. I also found mario kart easy for them both due to navigating the track they just understood it. I do want to get both bluey and gabby on it too.
Sing is also great if she’s one to enjoy singing.
