Thanks so much for everyone’s answers! I’m loving getting these ideas! Oh yes!! I remember going to Nelson bay frequently as a child! I’m going to add that in for sure! My parents have done the whole caravan trip around Australia and have also said that there is so much to see here that many people forget about! Melbourne is great- Phillip island and the penguins was awesome!

We have also enjoyed fun trips such as visiting the ‘big things’ in Australia. It was an incredible amount of fun and we have some great memories and pictures of these trips. We have also done silo trail trips and it was wonderful to visit some smaller towns and see amazing artwork.

I love reading everyone’s answers here. I havent had a holiday out of state with my children just yet as i dont feel ready, but when it was just us two, one of my favorite places to go was to Malaysia. We have done so many trips back and fourth there that the staff actually remembered us!

We have travelled overseas to many countries and honestly our favourite places to holiday are in Australia. This country is so incredible and so vast and so beautiful and there are so many incredible places to see. We love to holiday in coastal and bush locations and sometimes soak up city experiences too. Investigating in a good travel book for Australia is a good investment.

I love the Whitsunday Islands – they’re beautiful and very different to home. But they’re also very expensive and a bit of a “splash out” treat holiday. Haven’t been for years. We also like Melbourne. We have 7 years between our oldest and youngest, and Melbourne offers a range of activities so we can make everyone happy. And they all love the trams!

I actually love a place called South West Rocks near Kempsey such beautiful beaches and just really a gorgeous place to visit.

Our favourite has always been the Fraser Coast, and now we are lucky enough to live here. Nelson Bay is a stunning beach town that I adore too. I love a small beach town with great food and coffee. Our toddler just wants a fun place to run around and play, these tick those boxes
