  • The Novotel group has a number of accomodations at different prices.

  • I’ve been told Country Club Casiono is lovely. Nice and close to the city centre and, surprisingly, quite affordable

  • We stayed in China Town and found that really reasonable. Another option is Stayz or Air B’n’B. They have lots of different types of accommodation in different areas of Melbourne

  • I swear by Airbnb or using Hotel Combined (compares all hotel booking sites). Airbnb has provided some fascinating stays from penthouses you studious with graffiti walls and a place inspired by forests and clouds 🙂

  • Travel sites can also be helpful with finding accommodation to suit a specific budget – might be worth a look?

  • It depends on budget and style of accomodation.
I search online and compare different styles of accomodation.
I book directly with the accomodation venue for the best price.

  • Try Agoda or Air bnb – anywhere in the cbd or Southbank has a nice ambience.

  • Best place to stay in Melbourne, for me, that’s not too expensive is at my sons. Stay as long as I like, payment is to help out with whatever they’re doing and clean up after myself
