After someone vomits or has diarrhea, always thoroughly clean and disinfect the entire area immediately: Put on rubber or disposable gloves and wipe the entire area with paper towels, then disinfect the area using a bleach-based household cleaner as directed on the product label.
Washing your hands often with soap and water is the most effective way to stop the spread of these viruses to others. If you can’t wash your hands, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, which can reduce germs.
Reduce physical contact with the person who’s sick, use face masks and isolate when needed
Enforcing hand washing when coming home from anywhere and before eating. I also make sure not to mix my chopping boards (eg. I have seperate ones for fish, chicken and non-meat items). I like the idea of a spray bottle to spray down handles on doors.
I have disinfectant in a spray bottle and squirt it on regularly used items eg the fridge door, door handles, in and around the toilet. I think it helps get it under control. Actually stops the spreading if the germs are caught early enough
