I personally would cap at $50. I usually am able to find great sales and stash something away for a few months, but it’s tricky when a party is suddenly a few weeks away. Anywhere from $30 to $50 can get something decent that won’t break after a few plays or days

Omg yes! I’m glad I’m not the only one! My mum thinks I’m crazy for spending $30-$50 and makes me question myself but then when I try and find something for $20 I struggle! Times have changed and prices have changed. $50 is the max we go and I hope it stays that way.

Great Q! I feel like back then $20 used to get you a decent present, but not so much these days. I think it also depends on how good of a friend they are with my kids, and if theyre close. I would usually go somewhere between $30-$50 for a gift. More if they are like best friends. If both my girls have been invited, then id definitely go more.
