Briefs or trunks for toilet training?

I’d love to put my son in trunks so he can be matchy with his dad but i wonder if briefs would be easier? or not an issue at all?

I think as long as he can pull them up and down easily, it doesn’t matter which you use.

I use the Woolies branded ones they r cheap and quality is very good

Not an issue at all that I can see. They basically need to learn the signals that tell them to go to the toilet. The unfurls they wear are irrelevant
