What can we use to keep moths out at night?

Hello!

The last few weeks homes here are getting invaded by moths at night for some reason.We have used Mortein outside but they are coming in everynight through the vents and under doors.The moths are huge and we have to be careful what products we use due to Asthma conditions.We are not the only home having this problem the wholetown is!!! What can we use to prevent them coming in or to kill them thats not a harsh chemical pls help even with the lights off we are getting atleast 15 everynight!!!TIA xxxx

I would be blocking the vents and the under door areas until the problem (hopefully) passes. This would freak me out

try a sock/snake to stop them coming in under the doors

just replace your lights. you can get these bulbs that are a slightly different colour. bugs don’t get attracted to them. you wont notice a difference in the light and the bugs will stay away. ask at Bunning’s they should have them.

Get a bug zapper and try to limit the lighting, maybe just use a couple of dim lamps if you can.

You could try getting a outdoor ‘Bug Zapper’ from bunnings or Masters (they have solar powered ones as well as chorded ones) to try and attract the moths away from the house.

try to keep your lights to a minimum and use a bug zapper too
