  • You can get the doctors initial appointment bulk billed but the actual procedure will get a Medicare rebate. My husband just had his done and it cost $150 out of pocket or something like that. Not very expensive for peace of mind when you don’t want anymore children. Find a good doctor though.

  • Not bulk billed but they do have a Medicare rebates of around $200.

  • Not that I know of, but this is a great Question!

  • Medicare might also be able to provide information.

  • A professional specialising in this procedure or services for this area should be able to provide advice.

  • If it’s not it should be!

  • Following as I’d like to know this also!

  • Not that im aware of. I would be asking the medical professionals involved

  • My husband had the vasectomy procedure done and am sure you need private Health Insurance or to be on a waiting list for public patient.I am most certain this is not a Bulk Bill service due to the item no via private health

  • Ours was only 500!

  • You can but would have to check each hospital for wait times

  • And no, as far as I know Medicare doesn’t cover the total cost of a vasectomy. However, you will be entitled to a Medicare rebate, so the total out-of-pocket cost to you will be less if you have a Medicare card.

  • Sorry to see nobody answered your question yet !
