Hello!

I need to change from breast feeding to bottle feeding. Can anyone recommend a good anti-colic bottle brand?

  • We have had success with the MAM brand.

  • I always use avent products

  • When weaning bub off the breast it is crucial that you only reduce or cut out 1 feed per week. By that I mean If bubs is on 5 feeds a day you reduce it to 4 and for the next week bubs only has 4 feeds. Similarly 3 feeds the next week and so on .NEVER try to do it any faster than that or you can end up with very sore lumpy breasts.

  • I used Avent when I weaned both my boys. They have such a wide range of products now you’re bound to find something you’ll be happy with. Neither of my boys had any trouble feeding with the Avent range and I even used their microwave steriliser and breast pump. Make sure you label them thought – they are notorious for going missing at the park or Drs surgery!

  • Avent!! the only bottles my son didn’t suffer with colic from.

  • avent is a great brand. this site has mum reviews on it if you would like to check them out. i have left my reviews there and you might spot them in between everyone else’s lol

  • Advent have a good range of bottle feeding equipment. Perhaps it would be good idea to talk to your infant welfare nurse and the chemist. They are usually quite knowledgeable about this particular subject.

  • MAM is amazing

  • Your local health nurse can give you some great advice on the best options for your feeding needs.

  • i used advent they were great

  • the blue avent ones look good.

  • I used nuby, but there are so many brands maybe buy a couple of different ones and work out what’s suits you the best
