  • Really loved reading all the comments here on this chat thread! It’s definitely a very similar tone in our household. The days are slow but the years truely do go by so fast and it’s sad realising that my kids are only young once and i slowly see them get older! Life’s had its up and downs but we are hopefully ending on a high!

  • The year really has flown by far too quickly and my only wish for 2026 is for it to be a slow year. As the years go by time really does fly! It is such a true saying. We have checked in with everyone in our networks and they feel the same way.

  • Yes 2025 started off really well and then got to around April went down hill from there from constant health issues and and having a 5th operation on my eye to try and save it as I had a bad retina detachment over a year ago then my husband waiting for surgery or his back and shoulder well I must say this 2025 has been a very eventful year indeed.

  • I’ll be glad to see the end of 2025. What a year! It’s been tough and challenging with a few rewarding bits in between. Hoping for a happy Christmas for everyone and a fresh new year with renewed goals and aspirations.

  • I’ve personally had a bit of an up and down year. Its ending on a high, we have just been given unconditional approval for our first home with settlement in early January. I’m really looking forward to having my own garden finally and letting my toddler have more freedom in the home. But I’ve unfortunately had 3 loses trying to grow our family so that’s made the year pretty sour. Hoping 2026 is nothing but happiness

  • What a lovely question! 2025 has been a bit of a struggle for us, so I’m super excited to be getting into the Christmas season and really try and enjoy the holiday cheer.
Life can get so challenging sometimes so it’s easy to forget what’s important. I hope all the mums here are well and everyone manages to have a happy, healthy and safe Christmas no matter how you spend it!

  • Feeling good. The year has flown way too fast. It gets faster every year. I’ve just got y MoJo back and gotten back into sewing. Now I suddenly have all these great gift ideas and am in a mad rush to get things done before Xmas. It’s been a wonderful year.

  • The year had been an incredibly busy and all round productive year and we are all ready for a well deserved break. We are ready to recharge and have a very low key Christmas and holiday period and get ready for another happily busy and productive year ahead of achieving goals.
