We bought a christmas advent this year with each day that comes with its own craft pack. It has an instruction sheet attached to each one and comes with everything they need to do it themselves. It keeps them busy and best thing is they can do it all on their own

Ohhh don’t get me started! I have teenagers but every year I still get one or two crafts together for us to do while we watch a Christmas movie! Last year we got colour in stuffed elf dolls from Kmart and they are now part of our yearly Christmas decor! It’s funny to see who put effort in and who gave up half way! I think they have colour in stockings this year! We’ve also purchased paint your own decorations and gummy lolly build your own house kits. All we’re really enjoyed.

When we put the tree up, my kids talked about how much they used to like making christmas decorations. Some were decorating wooden shapes from Bunnings, others were using paper templates that we got off the web. They were all pretty simple, and allowed for a lot of creativity – coloring or glitter, for example.
