Hello!

I have black – I’m assuming mold – on the inside of the rubber seal on my front loader, I’ve tried many ways to remove it and none have worked. Does anyone have a method that will help? I can manage to get rid of some but never all of it and am very frustrated, I also don’t want to damage the seals. Any ideas would be appreciated.

  • I use bleach and hot water on mine. Works well for me

  • I hope you find a solution. Mold can be hard to get rid of. I always leave the door open so it gets a chance to air out.

  • Brush some vinegar on the side and leave for 30 mins

  • my previous washing machine did this and I would use a toothbrush and a little laundry liquid
my new one is a different design so the rubber seal so far is black free 🙂

  • I also have the same issue and have tried it all :/ Ill be watching to see if there is any clever ideas

  • Definitely try vinegar, certain chemicals can eat away at the rubber

  • id try vinegar, or maybe some eucalyptus oil
