I’ve found honey works well as said below. We also make sure the air isn’t too dry so sometimes use a humidifier and encourage the kids to drink lots of water too.

Have heard good thinks about the raw and manuka honey remedies. Its expensive though. Have also heard that olive leaf extract is good, not sure if that’s only for adults though. MIght be worth googling. Vicks on the feet at night with socks on is supposed to be good too.

Giving honey what you do (preferably raw honey or manuka honey) is just the best you can do, you can add some cinnamon which is also a good cold remedy.
