  • I didn’t struggle. But I hated it. It was painful and I was so exhausted. So I only lasted 2 days before I switched to bottle. I honestly believe its why I didn’t get post natal depression. Breastfeeding is wonderful for lots of women. But its ok if you don’t end up doing it. Its really just one part of a very long journey.

  • i stuck with it and it gets easier as you do it more.

  • I didn’t have any trouble, I breast fed my first daughter until 21 months and my second/third daughter twins until 16 months

  • I breastfed my daughter for 1 year and 1 week. My daughter started to sleep through the night the night before turning 2 months old. This way I stopped breastfeeding during the night at that time. And when she was around 5 months old, I had less milk because of that. Now I don’t remember the name, but the pediatrician gave me a medicine to stimulate the milk production. And it functioned. So I could go on.

  • If you can its best to stick with it for 6 weeks if you can as the first 6 weeks can be unpredictable. Perhaps if you need help try calling the Australian Breastfeeding hotline as they give free advice?
