  • I waited until the baby arrived and I think its so much better this way. The arrival of a baby should be a special bond between the two partners

  • I wanted to know, I didn’t want to wait to find out. I know they can get it wrong some times, but we could see 100% on the scan. I won’t be having any more kids, but I’d still have made the choice to find out.

  • No, we decided we wanted to know – to help with names, mostly.

  • Yes we didn’t find out until baby was here

  • No in fact as soon as I could I know I wanted to know it’s awesome knowing the sec but if you keep it a surprise I suppose that’s also really nice too

  • I wanted to know beforehand. It made it easier to choose a name, buy clothes and get mentally prepared.

  • It wasn’t the done thing with my pregnancies. It was offered once and we did say no

  • Thought I could wait but guess not!

  • With both of my daughters I found out the gender before they were born. The first was after having CV sampling and the second was after having an amnio. During both of these pregnancies we were in high risk groups for congenital problems so finding out the gender really became secondary to their health. 🙂
