I usually get it done at beautician too but thought I’d try DIY to try save. DISASTER is all I can say. It went so wrong. I’m never going to try again but wish you the best.

I have waxed with sugar wax which doesn’t work for me (fabric strips)
and with self setting wax.

However I have not gone as far as xxx the self setting wax works well.

Supermarket wax is soluble and any residue washes of with water. Not like what they use in salon. So it’s important to have the area free from any oils. Add talcun powder to absorb moisture and when applying the wax give it a firm rub to produce extra warmth and better adhesion

Veet; seems to work well; just make sure you test before using all over; try it out on a small area to ensure there is no reaction. Good Luck!

The Veet sensitive cream is good, just remember to spot test it first before going all in and keep a clock handy..timing is everything with those creams!

I used to get xxx but not these days. When I can humanely afford it I was thinking of trying laser hair reduction again, as I had a few sessions on my underarms but haven’t been able to afford the follow up sessions in recent years. I haven’t done the full xxx at home, just used the popular brand wax strips to do the bikini line a long time ago. I did see a fantastic YouTube clip on how to make your own sugar wax, which requires no strips to be used. I really recommend searching for it on YouTube.
