Hello!

Need advice mums! I’ve tried doterra euclyptus oil in the diffuser for my stuffy baby and didn’t think it made any difference. Does a vaporizer work better to help a stuffy baby?

  • I wouldnt use essential oils in a confined space with young babies

  • Be careful with essential oils. As wonderful as they are, some of them are not safe for children or pets.

  • I used Eucolyptus oil in a diffuser and found it worked for my little one, if it didnt work I was going to go and buy one of the Vicks branded ones as I find them to work really well also.

  • Definitely works! I love essential always,
I use a sleepy time one
And when kids are sick I use one called breath easy or the Euky bear one.

  • Essentials oils definitely relaxes me!

  • I’ve used Vick’s vapour run on there chest works every time

  • When my son was very very bad with Asthma I purchased an oil called Breathe Easy Oil and used it in an oil burner in the house I found it to be very good for him.

  • I use the LeRev Breath Easy oil in our vapouriser and it does wonders. Also put it on a tissue and in the air vent of the car when I have the heater cranking in the morning.

  • I used to get a stuffy nose every night in bed for years and have tried everything from tablets, chest rubs, oils etc but finally tried a humidifier and found it gives the best relief.

  • I always use eucalyptus oil. It works for my kids.

  • Easy air into some coconut oil and use it as a chest rub or use Vick’s baby balsam

  • Babies definitely respond more to Vicks vapourub on their chests in my opinion. I only use essential oils when I am massaging and the diffuser was a waste of money in my mind.

  • Vicks Baby Balsam is a great product to use. It’s soothing to apply and smells lovely without being overly strong on little ones.

  • Use doTerra Easy Air. That is a blended formula that ALWAYS helps my kids when they have a stuffy nose.

  • I used to use vapouriser for my first child and then doterra came along. I find easy air works very well. You get about 4 hours of peace. I also use euky bearub on their chest, back and feet (with socks).

  • Try using easy air as that is like Vick’s But natural. We use it all the time with a carrier oil and rubbed on back and chest and bottom of feet.
Diffuse it also every night regardless.

  • Essential oils have definitely worked for our children. I’ve been using them for nearly 2 years and can say that we have had only 3-4 colds over this period. We use our oils daily and have our diffusers on nearly 2-3 day.

  • We use Easy Air from DoTERRA in a diffuser and it helps our kids. I also use it in a roller on their chest too.
I will also use conventional medications if needed too. Sometimes I think it is trial and error.

  • I have both, but in my opinion I cannot beat Vaporiser and Vicks Liquid.
It seems to get through the house further and the gentle noise even proves to soothe the kids too.

  • We love our Essential Oils and find that they work wonderfully well. Young Livings Breathe Away would possible work better, but whichever oil you choice you need to ensure it is top quality (not from the local shops) in order for it to be beneficial. It needs to be pure, not synthetic. You need at least 3 drops in the diffuser for it to have an effect. Keep at it.
