It depends on what you are confessing. My bestie knows everything but my husband doesn’t know much about my past before I met him, we both decided that our pasts are our past and it doesn’t define us just helped us get to where we are and who we are

I would say it depends what you want to confess to if you have a partner it’s best to be honest but I suppose it depends on what type of person you are I would confess to my partner,

I love my best friend and my hubby almost equally – but some things are best not said to hubby, yet everything gets told to my bestie. I guess it just depends. My best friend knows 100% of my secrets, while hubby knows 99%. Not too bad

It depends on what it is and how much you trust that person. Sometimes a best friend can let something slip and it can make a small issue bigger than what it is.

I think if it is something that is good and will benefit the relationship with your partner then go ahead . Otherwise better not say everything and as long as your friend won’t tell and you feel you need to express it then it should be ok since it is based on trust . Good luck to you !

It depends on what it is you have to tell. It could change you relationship with who ever it is.. If it is about something that is a little white lie you could tell either.. If you have the need to tell someone i do like the idea of telling a counselor to see if it in your best interests to share all..

Well, if you are religious, perhaps go to the counselor of some sort, or a third party person who has no threat to you telling everything and won’t use it against you in the future. That way, you can unload your burden without backlash, so to speak.

It depends on what confess means? I share with my partner – my most trusted.

It depends on what you need to say. I tend to trust my partner, especially if I need an honest opinion.

Personally I think it’s good to be careful with what you share.
Not so long ago I told some personal things to my best friend, She shared it with her partner, who walked away with the info and used it against me. Lesson learned, I just share with my partner
