  • I used to go when I was younger but found that people are so aggro so I don’t bother anymore as it’s not worth getting into a fight over something.
I honestly can’t believe the way some people act and I hate crowds.

  • I might go this year.

  • I definitely wait till it quietens down. I really don’t like crowds.

  • No I don’t go. Too chaotic for me.

  • Not anymore. I’ve noticed most big businesses start boxing day sales on Dec 24th /25th when the shops are closed. Easier to shop in the comfort of your own home!

  • yeah that is right, some people go crazy for the bargain! “i saw it first!”

  • We just came back from Adelaide, boy it was strange this year. People and kids lined up from 9.00am in the morning and most shop opened at 11.00am . They were all different and even the local didn’t know what was going on . It really is better to skip it unless you have something urgent to buy , crowds are just terrible .

  • I usually go the day after Boxing Day when things are not so frantic but there is still plenty of stock available.

  • I Use to before kids but with kids its just to hard.

  • I like to physically see and touch things that I am buying but am not keen on queues but will be going along with my friend.

  • Nah. I think you can get better bargains online and from overseas.

  • Never !!! Can’t handle the rudest of some people l mean it’s still technically Xmas for God’s sake and they are acting like it’s a life and death moment to get the item they want. The sale usually lasts a week or two, l go later after the initial rush,l still come home with bargains and if there are refunds or exchanges from Xmas they can still be done too, without the drama.

  • I do like getting a bargin but I’d only line up if I was desperate for something, luckily I live in a smaller town so the crowds are overly crowded.

  • I sometimes go, to be honest it depends on if I have money to spend between the expenses of christmas and the upcoming year. If I do go I’ve always got an action plan knowing exactly what I want to buy and show up just before opening.

  • Absolutely!!! But I just avoid the returns/refund counter of major department stores until a later date

  • We are always with family on Boxing Day but l wouldn’t go due to the crowds and the mad rush!

  • I wait for it to quieten down, but I am going with a friend who is super keen.

  • No, they aren’t for me. There are plenty of great bargains to be had regularly these days anyway.

  • I never went to a Boxing Day Sale. I can’t stand shopping surrounded by hundreds of people. 🙂

  • I usually wait a few days. And I know what I need before I go near a shop.
