When I was about 10 years old I used to read my school readers in bed for a short time each night. For Easter my parents bought me a bed lamp and put a small Easter egg where the globe belonged. We never enjoyed large Easter Eggs as we weren’t dark chocolate fans.

We don’t buy gifts at Easter. We try to keep it low key.

We spend $30 to our town council per child currently 3 children fourth not due to August the council then do up a basket of eggs which is personally delivered by the Easter bunny and then from us parents they will get or two big eggs and some winter pjs.

We don’t really get Easter gifts except themed chocolate eggs & bunnies.

Buying a variety eggs and making up little Easter parcels/bags is perfect for staying on budget and for giving a pretty and personalised Easter gift.

We do one big egg each for other people.

Not really I’ll just go into the store and buy as many Eater-themed things as possible!

I spend a maximum of $10 per gift but generally spend about $5 for a Lindt chocolate bunny or something similar. For families with children I sometimes splurge on an Easter egg hunt kit. Those are loads of fun!

Budget is $10 each child this includes 4 nieces & nephews & my child. They all get one chocolate each wether it be a small egg, bunny or gift pack. This year to save on costs I’m doing an Easter egg hunt with small to medium size eggs spending $15 in total then bought each child a pair of pj’s from big w which were around $7 each. This kept me within my budget overall.

For me Easter is not a big time for expenses. I just get some chocolate eggs. So no need to budget. I think that for my daughter I spent less than twenty dollars.
