Our neighbour has a retired gentleman who comes to do their garden. He potters around throughout the week for a few hours here and there weeding, trimming and mulching. It keeps him busy and he loves it, they pay him cash in hand and cups of tea. They’ve actually become surrogate kids to him and he will often pop over for a cup of tea too. He’s amazing with the garden but obviously, heavy and hard to reach things he doesn’t do. Mind you, he gives plenty of good advice to our neighbour to do those things.

we got 3 quotes for our landscaping as it was a big job with cutting concrete and digging up etc and the price really varied. you do wonder is the quality the same too?

We had a lawnmowing guy years ago, but chose to do the lawns ourselves when the price got too expensive.
