  • I never had nor used a baby monitor. I guess it depends on the reason you want one.


  • It also gives piece of mind when your child is unwell / has a cold


  • I found it super useful, and as the kids got older, it proved quite the useful eavesdropping device too.


  • Yes I had my youngest in her own room from wk 5 onwards. It helped indicating when she would be ready for a feed as I could hear her before she started crying.


  • Nope, I never had one for my kids
    My grandson had one in his room. I think it’s a handy thing to have but not completely necessary


  • We just started putting our daughter in her own room , she’s 7.5months. For me I needed that piece of mind that I can see her without disturbing her. I find now I just keep the monitor on to see that she has fallen asleep, then turn it off and just check up on her once and a while. Money well spent for us!
