Procrastination is the biggest problem, so set a timetable and stick to it as much as possible. Make time for study and stick to it. Also make time for exercise and socialising.

Commitment and organisation. You need to commit to whatever you put in place and you most definitely need to be organised. Draw up a study roster and stick to it

I found having someone to study with was a help for me. We often got a few fellow students from same class together and organised study sessions, essay writing sessions, exam cramming sessions etc

The best thing to do is schedule time in your diary to study. do not give up that time for study unless of course it is a life threatening emergency. i also endeavour to allow myself extra time before uni to do study or between classes. these are the only things that really seem to work for me.

You need to put time aside for study. Don’t just try and fit it in when you get time. I work better with a timetable so I will assign myself study time.

Im only part time, so you would have a lot more on your plate.
Time management is the biggest thing. I tend to study mostly at night once kids are in bed. Create a daily planner to help you organise your day and week.

Time management and a schedule works for me. I set aside time every day to study and have a goal of what I want to achieve. Set realistic goals though. It might be just listening to a 30 minute lecture or reading a chapter in the textbook but it helps motivate you. Don’t study in bed, try to minimise distractions. If you notice you are getting distracted take a 5 minute break just to stretch and get back on task. I plan my assignments also so I not doing anything last minute.

Set goals St the beginning of a study session. I.e. Read article and make notes, decide on essay question, start essay by writing dot point of content. If I’m aimless I procrastinate 🙂 also schedule study into your diary. I now say no to some social stuff if I had planned to study because otherwise life gets too vust with everything else. Sometimes I also purposefully do jobs before studying so I don’t procrastinate, I guess it’s called productive procrastination!

Always have a designated space for study. Mobile phone off, emails checked and in box closed; TV off, play classical music by Mozart and start your study 🙂
Oh, make sure you have a 5-10 minutes break every hour.
