Hello!

I prefer to use a natural version inside the house so my baby does not inhale any chemicals. Does anyone have a homemade recipe that kills spiders

  • Vinegar- Although harmless to humans, the acetic acid in vinegar is highly volatile to spiders. Mix a solution of 1 part vinegar and 1 part water. Spray on spider. Natural Scented Oils- Oils like eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil, and rose oil not only effectively kill spiders and bugs, they prevent them from returning!

  • I don’t use chemicals. I kill flies and cockroaches with a fly swatter. Fortunately I don’t have spiders in the house.

  • I’m not sure if it kills them, but I’ve been reading a lot lately of used tea bags spread around keeps them away. I keep meaning to try it but haven’t got round to it yet

  • Just put them outside! There is no need to kill them x

  • I don’t know of anything to kill them. Maybe like the other comments said a barrier spray might help 🙂

  • Really , why would you catch them and release them close to your house to probably have to do the same thing again. I got bitten whilst visiting friends. I can assure you I wouldn’t have just moved the spider had I caught it. Bear in mind some spiders give really poisonous bites. Some cause ulceration of skin.

  • I know its not quite the answer you are looking for, but maybe try a good barrier spray outside? Try and keep them from coming in. We’ve had the problem recently with a few huntsmans in the lounge room!

  • We don’t kill them. We capture them with a plastic box and release them outside.
